Our third year fellow, Lauren Ohman, just completed her crossover training at UC San Diego working in the lab of Dr. Eric Ahrens to further her education in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. She spent a quarter learning sequence selection and acquisition for MRI, as well as obtaining preliminary results on a new 19F MRI contrast agent utilizing antibodies for specific targeting in vitro.
